Bike In & Bike Out is not only a saying for us

The Bike Republic Sölden will continue to go full throttle in 2025.

Since the construction of the GAHE Line, which in Ötztal means fast, swift and the connecting section of the Harbe Line with the Lettn Line, and the construction of the Olm Volle Line (black difficulty level), on 5 trails (the GAHE Line runs directly past our accommodation and therefore provides pure biking fun in the morning), another highlight has now been added behind our house:

Dirtpark Grünwald from 2025

In 2024, an XXL dirt park with freeride line and slopestyle course was built on an area of 13,300 square metres behind our building and inaugurated by the Swatch Nines athletes as part of the BYND The Mountain Festival 2024.

It will be open to the public from 2025 and is just waiting to be conquered.

Many trails lead to us

Bike beginners, who reach us via the blue GAHE line, as well as bike professionals, who can choose the downhill runs via the Harise Trail (black), Traien Trail (black) or the Leiterberg Trail (red with a short counter climb to Grünwald), reach our chalets and holiday apartments directly.

With the completion of the Olm Volle Line in 2022, there will be another black shaped trail which will lead to us and further strengthen the bike offer.

You can get an overview of our trails in Sölden here on the Trailmap of the Bike Republic Sölden.

Bike Republic Facts

Above Sölden reigns a dense network of natural trails, freshly shaped flow trails and the demanding jump line. The infrastructure of the Bike Republic is exemplary with the Bergbahnen Sölden, which offer the perfect ascent assistance. You will also find two pump tracks and skill centres here: The Pumptrack Sunny at the Hotel Sunny and the Pumptrack Rolling (the biggest in Tyrol) at the Bäckelar Wirt, which is located in the middle of the village. And then there are the specialized bike shops and bike hotels.

Ötztal cycle path - The cycle path through the whole Ötztal valley

Starting in Haiming at 663 m, the cycle path runs through the entire Ötztal valley and ends in Sölden at 1,360 m. It branches off from one of the longest cycle paths in Europe - the Innradweg - and leads cyclists over 52 kilometres into the very own mountain world of the Ötztal Alps.

Running through five climate stages, the Ötztal cycle path offers bikers a special variety of landscapes: from the sunny dry climate at the valley entrance to the open expanse of Umhausen and Längenfeld to the end of the route in Sölden surrounded by mighty 3000m peaks.

Our chalets and holiday flats invite you to the Bike Opening in the Bike Republic Sölden and offer you and your bike numerous services, a locked bike cellar with workshop and modern accommodation. Above Sölden, in the Grünwald district, with a wonderful view over Sölden, you can enjoy your biking holiday in peace and quiet. With the Panoramaalm there is a restaurant in summer as well as in winter.

And to start your mountain bike day early in the morning, our new Gahe Line is available directly at the accommodation.

Have a good time with us and enjoy the days in our Bikerepublic.

Accommodation directly on the Bike Trails of Sölden

With the construction of the Gahe Line we are not only at the Trails Harise (670) and Traien but also at one of the many Shaped Lines.

Next to the Gahe Line you will reach the Bike Republic of Sölden via the Lettn Line, which is the blue highway to the Giggijochbahn and which takes you through forest and meadow back to the valley and with its playful elements.

Gahe Line - Direct route to accommodation

In the Ötztal dialect "Gahe" means "fast" or "fast". And right: On the new flowline of Bike Republic Sölden you can let it run properly. A little bit of fitness is advantageous, though. Because together with Harbe and Lettn Line, this results in a fabulous downhill run of 12 kilometres and almost 1,000 metres of depth. From Sonnblick, the easy route winds its way to Grünwald in a wide two-metre corridor with many steep turns and scooters, and promises a first-class flow for both advanced and leisurely bikers. Fast riders are happy about plenty of airtime. Those who prefer a more leisurely ride can also roll the waves nicely and enjoy the fantastic deep views.
